Shut The Fuck Up, Conservatives: I don’t check the gmail account for STFU *nearly* often enough, and... → stfuconservatives.tumblr.com

aubade:

There isn’t some magic bright line rule about how many abortions you think a woman should be allowed to get. Historically, many married women have gotten more than one abortion after having children, just because they can’t afford to feed more mouths and care more about the children they already have.

You are not pro choice if you think like this. A woman’s body is her own business, and you, nor anyone else, have any right to judge what she chooses to do with it. Don’t fool yourself. You are not pro choice by any way, shape, or form.

Let’s also consider the many women who, before birth control and the legalization of abortion, had MULTIPLE births. Even if every one of those children were loved, that kind of physical stress on a woman’s body - often for YEARS at a time - could not have been a fucking walk in the park. Women’s bodies - and their reproductive choices - are there own. Full Stop.

The gleaming stars all about the shining moon

Hide their bright faces, when full-orbed and splendid

In the sky she floats, flooding the shadowed earth

     with clear silver light.

Say ‘yes’ to the IUD. Seriously. Also, look for the supplement 5htp - I live in the Pacific Northwest where 6 months of overcast days drive a number of crazy. *We take the 5htp to help alleviate the depression and anxiety that comes with our weather.

*BY ‘we’ I mean myself and several other people I know. Plus my doctor. And, did you know that people will take 5htp after coming off of Ecstasy? True story.
